SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT – OPENING OF NEW AIRCRAFT STANDS 481 TO 487, CODE C TAXILANE S6 AND TAXIWAY S7

1 INTRODUCTION

1.1This AIP Supplement is to inform airline operators and pilots of the opening of new aircraft stands 481 to 487, Code C Taxilane S6 and Taxiway S7 at South Apron with effect from 30 August 2018 0400 UTC.

1.2 This AIP Supplement also describes the pushback procedures for aircraft departing from new aircraft stands 481 to 487.

2 AIRCRAFT STANDS 481 TO 487, CODE C TAXILANE S6 AND TAXIWAY S7

2.1 Details of the new aircraft stands 481 to 487 are as follows:

3 PUSHBACK PROCEDURES FOR AIRCRAFT STANDS 481 TO 487

3.1 The pushback procedures for the new aircraft stands 481 to 487 are as follows:

481The aircraft (on idle thrust) shall be pushed back following the pushback line until its nose wheel is at “EOP 481” position. The aircraft shall then be towed forward onto Taxilane S6 to face North until its nose wheel is at “EOT 481” position. The aircraft may break away from there.

Pushback approved, to face North.
OR

The aircraft (on idle thrust) shall be pushed back following the pushback line onto Taxilane S6 to face South until its nose wheel is at the stopbar behind aircraft stand 483. The aircraft may break away from there.

Pushback approved, to face South.
482The aircraft (on idle thrust) shall be pushed back following the pushback line onto Taxilane S6 to face North until its nose wheel is at “EOP 482” position. The aircraft may break away from there.

Pushback approved, to face North.
OR

The aircraft (on idle thrust) shall be pushed back following the pushback line onto Taxilane S6 to face South until its nose wheel is at the intersection of the aircraft stand pushback line and Taxilane S6 centreline. The aircraft may break away from there.

The aircraft (on idle thrust) shall be pushed back following the pushback line onto Taxilane S6 to face North or South until its nose wheel is at the intersection of the aircraft stand pushback line and Taxilane S6 centreline. The aircraft may break away from there.

The aircraft (on idle thrust) shall be pushed back following the pushback line onto Taxilane S6 to face North until its nose wheel is at the intersection of the aircraft stand pushback line and Taxilane S6 centreline. The aircraft may break away from there.
