SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT – UPDATED CLOSURE SCHEDULES FOR RUNWAY 02L/20R AND RUNWAY 02C/20C

1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 This AIRAC AIP Supplement is to update the aviation industry of the changes to Runway 02L/20R and Runway 02C/20C scheduled closures at Singapore Changi Airport effective from 04 September 2025, 1700UTC to 31 March 2027, 2130UTC.

2 LONG CLOSURES OF RUNWAY 02L/20R AND RUNWAY 02C/20C FROM 04 SEPTEMBER 2025 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2025

2.1 Runway 02L/20R will be closed between 1700UTC to 2200UTC every Sunday and Wednesday from 04 September 2025 to 30 September 2025 for resurfacing works and maintenance.

2.2 In the event of an emergency, the runway will be re-opened within two hours.

2.3 Runway 02C/20C will be closed between 1800UTC to 2200UTC every Tuesday and Friday from 04 September 2025 to 30 September 2025 for maintenance.

2.4 In the event of an emergency, the runway will be re-opened within 30 minutes.

3 LONG CLOSURES OF RUNWAY 02L/20R AND RUNWAY 02C/20C FROM 30 SEPTEMBER 2025 TO 31 MARCH 2027

3.1 Runway 02L/20R will be closed between 1730UTC to 2130UTC every Sunday and Wednesday from 30 September 2025 to 31 March 2027 for maintenance.

3.2 Runway 02C/20C will be closed between 1730UTC to 2130UTC every Tuesday and Friday from 30 September 2025 to 31 March 2027 for maintenance.

3.3 In the event of an emergency, the runway will be re-opened within 30 minutes.

3.4 Please refer to Annex B for details.

4 CHANGES

4.1 This AIRAC AIP Supplement will supersede AIP SUP 056/2024 dated 15 February 2025.

4.2 Any change to the contents of this AIRAC AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.

4) Scheduled Closure of RWY 02L/20R
a. BTN 1700-2200UTC on every SUN and WED of the month (resurfacing and preventive maintenance work). In the event of an emergency, RWY will be re-opened within 2 hours. b. A 5-minute inspection conducted within the periods BTN 0100-0359UTC 0500-0759UTC 0800-1059UTC daily.
5) Scheduled Closure of RWY 02C/20C
a. BTN 1800-2200UTC on every TUE and FRI of the month (preventive maintenance work). In the event of an emergency, RWY will be re-opened within 30 minutes. b. A 5-minute inspection conducted within the periods BTN 0100-0359UTC 0500-0759UTC 0800-1059UTC daily.
6) Scheduled Closure of RWY 02R/20L
a. Runway 02R/20L is not available for civil use.
7) Additional Inspection and Maintenance Closures
a. On days when there is a scheduled runway closure BTN 1700-2200UTC or 1800- 2200UTC i. 10-minute inspection conducted within the period BTN 1500-1610UTC on the other operational runway(s) ii.15-minute inspection conducted within the period BTN 2300-2359UTC on the other operational runway(s); iii. 5-minute inspection conducted within period BTN 2300-2359UTC on the re-opened runway. b. On days when there is no scheduled runway closure BTN 1700-2200UTC or 1800-2200UTC I. RWY 02L/20R; i. 5-minute inspection conducted within period BTN 2300-2359UTC ii. 30-minute maintenance will be conducted BTN 1830-1900UTC II. RWY 02C/20C; i. 5-minute inspection conducted within period BTN 2300-2359UTC ii. 30-minute maintenance will be conducted BTN 1930-2000UTC III. RWY 02R/20L; i. Runway 02R/20L is not available for civil use.
