1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 This AIP Supplement is to inform airline operators and pilots to apply minimum thrust when taxiing on Taxilane N4 between aircraft stands 600(L/R) and 605, and entering aircraft stands 600(L/R) to 605 due to work activities at East Cargo Apron in Singapore Changi Airport. Additionally, pilots are advised to apply minimum thrust when taxiing on Taxilane N5 and entering aircraft stands 611 and 612 with effect from 05 May 2025, 0000UTC to 28 February 2026, 1100UTC.
2 JET BLAST MITIGATION
2.1 Due to potential jet blast issues affecting works in East Cargo Apron, pilots are advised not to stop during entry into aircraft stands 600(L/R) to 605, 611 and 612.
2.2 Should the aircraft come to a stop during entry into aircraft stands 600(L/R) to 605, 611 and 612, pilots are advised to call for towing assistance to be towed into the respective aircraft stands. In case the aircraft comes to a stop on Taxilane N5 between aircraft stands 604 and 611, pilots are advised to call for towing assistance to be towed to a safe location to breakaway.
2.3 Visual information to pilots will be provided by two mandatory instruction markings “APPLY MNM THRUST” on the pavement, one on Taxilane N4 and one on Taxilane N5 legible for pilots taxiing northwards. Refer to the plan shown in Annex A for location details.
3 CHANGES
3.1 This AIP Supplement supersedes AIP Supplement 141/2023 dated 19 October 2023.
3.2 Any change to the contents of this AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.
