1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will be participating in the National Day Parade 2017 (NDP17) as part of Singapore’s 52nd National Day Celebrations. The RSAF will be conducting aerial flypast during the NDP17 rehearsal days and on 09 August 2017.

2 CLOSURE OF AIRPORTS AND AIRSPACE RESTRICTIONS

2.1 Singapore Changi Airport, Seletar Airport and their Control Zones will be closed to all operations during the times listed in column (c) of the schedule in Annex A.

2.2 Sembawang ATZ and Light Aircraft Training Areas “B” and “C” will be closed on 3 and 10 June 2017 during the times stated in column (d) of the schedule in Annex A.

2.3 Paya Lebar CTR, Tengah ATZ, Sembawang ATZ, Light Aircraft Training Areas “A”, “B” and “C”, and WSD11A/B will be closed during the times stated in columns (e), (f), (g) and (h) of the schedule in Annex A.

2.4 Altitudes of flights on Airway G579 between JB / SJ and Airway B469 between SJ / PU will be restricted due to the fighters aerial flypast and military free-fall display during the times stated in column (f) of the schedule in Annex A.

2.5 As many flights are expected to arrive at and depart from Singapore Changi Airport shortly before and after the closure of Changi CTR, airline operators are advised to plan their flights to arrive or depart well before or after the closure of Changi CTR to avoid delays.

2.6 CAAS will ensure that departures from Singapore Changi Airport are able to clear the Changi CTR prior to closure. The last aircraft shall take off 5 minutes before the airport closure time.

2.7 For the first 15 minutes following Singapore Changi Airport’s re-opening, Changi arrivals will be allowed to land on both runways while departures will depart on Runway 02C/20C only. Segregated mode of operations will resume thereafter.
